On Saturday October 16th, 2010, Love Should Die marked its One Year Anniversary. Please note, we deliberately do not say 'celebrate' because we're still saddened by the fact that we have to exist at all. However, we would like to recognize the great strides we've made and thank our supporters immensely.
Over the last 12 months, we have seen Love Never Dies cancel their Broadway opening twice, watched theatre critics and audience members publish crippling reviews, observed the relationships amongst the creative team fall apart while the production changed its ad campaign several times, and more recently watched the show struggle with ticket sales by constantly offering free tickets and discounted ticket offers. Not to mention, the LSD Campaign hit major newspapers around the world, allowing fans voices to be heard despite multiple attempts to have the campaign shut down. More recently, Andrew Lloyd Webber has decided to close down the London production for 4 days in November 2010 to make ‘significant changes’ (this is not the first time he has incorporated changes since the opening). The Love Should Die team and campaign has been said to have created an £8,000,000 dent in profits for the production (as of June 2010).
In honour of our anniversary, the LSD Team asked our supporters to show the world ‘Why Love Should Die’ by submitting an artistic creation of their own to our first ever contest. The winner of the contest will win a prize package containing several items from our online store.
Amongst the many entries we received via email and via our facebook page, the LSD Team have narrowed the entries to the best 6 and have posted them below. It is now up to the LSD supporters to vote for the best entry!
Please review the below entries, and once finished, click here to voting. All votes must be received by Friday November 5th @ midnight. The votes will be tallied and the winner will be announced on Saturday November 6th.

One Year Anniversary Contest
Video Entry by Christina DiCillo
In honor of the one year anniversary of Love Should Die. Christina is very upset about the new show Love Never Dies. From what she has told Sarah through her sobs,it sounds strange! I meant the end of the video to be abrupt without a sense of closure because that's what I feel like LND is.
